By increasing incomes, the Fund has provided more resources for families to invest in health and education. 92% of clients reported that their increased income had been used to pay for hospital fees and medicines.



Social Status of Women improvement


The Fund has helped to improve both the social status and economic well being of women in Thanh Hoa. Developing their own businesses and participating in the monthly meetings has led women to feel more knowledgeable and confident about their abilities.


Poverty Alleviation and diversification of income sources


The Thanh Hoa Fund for Poor Women is helping to alleviate poverty and diversify income sources in poor families and communities. Thanh Hoa is one of the poorest provinces in Vietnam, and most of our clients enter the program with a household income of less than 80,000 VND ($6 USD) per family member.
