Experience sharing workshop on the establishment of the Social Fund

About the delegation from Ben Tre: lead by mr Tran Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of the provincial People's Committee, the Director, Deputy Director Department of Finance, Department of Planning and Investment, Department of the Interior, Office of the Commissioner provincial, State Bank - branches in provinces, the Women's Union, Farmers Union, IFAD project leader board .... About Thanh Hoa delegation: Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoi, Deputy Director of the provincial People's Committee, the representatives to the Provincial People's Committee Office, Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Foreign Affairs and representatives of the Bank State Bank - branches in provinces, the provincial Women's Union and the members of the Management Board, the Board of directors, the chief of FPW Fund and reporters of local television, newspapers.


During the seminar, the participants shared and discussed experiences in the mobilization of sponsor resources from non-governmental organizations to reduce poverty, and how to development Microfinance activities in two provinces.

After more than half of day to work, the workshop ended with excitement of the leadership from Ben Tre province, with shared experiences from Thanh Hoa, Ben Tre will soon be decide to establish a social fund and develop their microfinance operations, Ben Tre and Thanh Hoa will contribute to reduce poverty of the country in general and the two provinces of Thanh Hoa, Ben Tre particular. Also in this workshop, Thanh Hoa and FPW Fund committed to support, cooperation Ben Tre Women's Union, Ben Tre social fund now and in the future, hope that the solidarity of two provinces will be enduring forever.

Closing Workshop, mr Nguyen Ngoc Hoi - Vice Chairman gives his gratitude for the trust and affection that delegates in Ben Tre Province and hope that the cooperation between two provinces will be success. He also hopes to soon receive information about Ben Tre social funds establishment and the achievement of microfinance activities in Ben Tre.


Also in this trip, in addition from experience sharing workshop, Ben Tre delegates also visited 2/7 branches of FPW Fund, listening and observing directly branch staff work, discussion and visiting family members.
